Alignment with the country’s NDC, the target window and the priorities of the accredited entity.

Climate & climate finance
Climate change sits at the heart of E2CS Consult’s mission. We help our partners anticipate climate risk, design resilient projects and mobilise the international finance dedicated to climate.
What we deliver
This work extends our environmental and social assessment base. By turning an idea into a bankable file — concept note, full proposal, results framework and economic analysis — E2CS opens access to resources that remain under-mobilised in West Africa.
Analysis of a project’s climate vulnerability and risk, identification of adaptation and mitigation options, and integration of the climate dimension into impact assessments and management frameworks and plans.
Identification of project ideas, theory of change, concept notes and full proposals meeting the requirements of the adaptation, mitigation and private sector windows.
Guidance and support in mobilising resources from the Green Climate Fund, the Global Environment Facility, the Adaptation Fund and carbon finance.
Climate-smart agriculture, sustainable land management, climate-sensitive local planning, and building the resilience of vulnerable populations.
Climate co-benefit monitoring systems, greenhouse gas measurement and reporting, and reporting to funder standards.
Mitigation and adaptation
Climate windows expect a demonstration: that the project reduces emissions, or that it reduces a measured vulnerability. We build that demonstration.

Next step
Tell us about your idea: we assess its eligibility for the GCF, GEF and Adaptation Fund windows, and tell you what is missing to make it bankable.
